It did not blow me away like The Social Network did last year, but its still a very well done work in a year with very few good films. <br /><br />In terms of Oscar this film will not have quite the success of Fincher&#39;s last two films. Sadly the Reznor/ Karen O song does not qualify for the Song category; Reznor &amp; Ross&#39;s score will likely receive a nod, though. The editing by Baxter and Wall is likely the winner as they do incredibly well with a GREAT deal of cumbersome exposition and flashbacks. I really do hope that Mara gets nominated in what&#39;s stacking up to be a very crowded category this year: Viola Davis is the frontrunner, followed closely by Meryl Streep, Michelle Williams, Tilda Swinton, &amp; Charlize Theron). I hope that Noomi Rapace&#39;s impressive performance of Lisbeth in the Swedish films does not detract from Mara&#39;s very brave and soulful performance.mercutio18http://www.blogger.com/profile/13457152339887097123noreply@blogger.com
