I think it gets better as time goes...not sure if I could handle it every year (despite my want to be there) but it was an experience and much like high school is...the first year is a little rough, but by the time you're a senior, your an old pro! :)

You nailed it exactly: the BlogHer Hangover. I arrived home last night and today and I am simply exhausted. 7 days in NYC is tiring.

I am like you, I didn't attend all those tons of parties and after-parties and get-togethers. I was invited to a couple of things but didn't manage to find the time to go. BlogHer is huge and overwhelming. And now that I am back home, I feel like I missed out on a lot of stuff that everyone else is now posting that they got to do.

That's why I would never go to something like that. I'd feel left out of everything, and I'd rather feel left out in the comfort of my own home.
