It didn't really make sense for me to buy anything before I have a kitchen. But I did buy some local honey. I'm hoping it will help with the allergies I've suffered here.
On the other side is the Hall of Justice.
A couple blocks away is the Covington trailhead of the Tammany Trace, Louisiana's only rails-to-trails greenway. The Covington trailhead resembles an old-fashioned railroad station.
The greenline is 31 miles, crossing the Bogue Falaya. Which is really fun to say. bo-guh fuh-lie-uh
The section in Abita Springs is one of the most popular parts of the Trace. Maybe because of the charming Abita Trailhead Museum.
Maybe because there's a great children's park there.
But probably because of the Abita Brew Pub.

We love Abita and stop in whenever we're over that way. Best root beer ever!
Oooo...I love Abita too. They also have the awesome UCM Museum and their own Opry House!
