My completely irrational fear is that I'll drop my keys in the space between the elevator and the floor. This is an irrational fear because really. Have you ever heard of someone dropping their keys down the space between the elevator and the floor? I mean really.
So we're not talking about legitimate fears like spiders and snakes or home break-ins. I want to hear your irrational fears. Like being sucked down the bathtub drain.
And...GO.

I guess mine would be having a head on collision while sneezing. I've actually never heard of a wreck being caused because someone was sneezing so it's pretty irrational. Sneezing really only lasts a very short time but when you sneeze three in a row...though my eyes are open between sneezes so I can still see. All my other fears are pretty darn rational.
I actually do know someone who dropped their keys in the elevator crack...my mom did several years ago at the bank where she worked.
My irrational fear ie getting my toes caught in the end of the escalator.
Well that doesn't MAKE ME FEEL ANY BETTER AT ALL.
Ha! I was going to add that I've had two friends drop their keys down that crack. Ahem. Sorry about that.
My irrational fear is that whenever I go to flush a spider down the toilet, that it will get super human (spider?) strength and be so pissed that it will then jump out of the toilet and onto my face. EVERY TIME I WORRY.
Ok, K made me crack up.
My biggest fear is that when I'm stepping out of the elevator and I'm half in and half out, the elevator cable will break and the elevator will drop and I'll be sliced in half!
I have an irrational fear of balloons exploding and putting my eye out. I also fear car tires and bicycle tires blowing up and ripping my face off - hence I never can put air into anything.
I also fear the wop biscuit can (the can the you wop on the side of the counter to open) will explode in my hand and permanently maim me.
Finally, I have an irrational fear of ice cream truck drivers doing unsavory things in their little vans - and well we all know that fear is a reality!
