And the school pic? We must be about the same age. Looks like mine circa 2nd grade. (First grade was pigtails out to there...)

Well, style trends always repeat, right? I keep finding myself going back to variations on the layered, sometimes feathered, look I had in middle school. Although I have ditched the dorky glasses I was wearing back then, thank goodness.
