AFTER
So, my hairdresser wasn't as sure about the Factory Girl cut as I was. But we talked through several things and he agreed to do it and so he's cutting and looking at the photos and cutting some more and asking questions and continuing to cut and then he says, "I'm not going to go quite as short as hers because I don't want you to look like you have a giant mushroom on your head."

oh thanks! I do like it but it will take me a few days of playing with it to decide how I like it fixed. It's a big change.
Still, I saved myself about an hour and a half fixing it this morning. THAT I like!
Good Lord Girl...
I haven't spent an hour and a half on my hair this MONTH. OK, so it's long-ish and simple, but still. I only have that kind of time if I get up at 4:30 am!
You're still beautiful, as always, but I sure did like the last hairstyle, shoulder length,etc.
Cute! And WOW - taking an hour and a half off your getting ready time is the bomb.
For the record, I only undertook the 2-hour process of fixing my hair (wash, condition, dry, flat-iron and set on rollers) twice a week. Because I'm lazy like that. And also skanky like that.
I love it. Of course, I also loved it long. But in Memphis, in August? LOVE the Katie Holmes look.
You know what? You and Big Daddy should go somewhere like.... Aruba or Côte d'Azur just to MAKE SURE it will treat you better on vacations than last 'do

I've got hair that's very thick, wavy-to-curly with an extra helping of humidity-based frizz. (Blow dry, then flatiron every third day-- skanky girls unite!), and I have experienced the dreaded mushroom head when I go too short. Trust me, it is not pretty. Looks like Sienna Miller has thinner, straight hair--also, stylists to make her look good every day. No Factory Girl hair for the peasants I'm afraid. New haircut looks very nice, and more summery.
I think it's adorable. And the time saved is priceless.
i am one for longer hair, and I couldn't really tell from the teeny tiny picture, but if you like it that's awesome! And the less getting ready time is a bonus of all bonuses. and congrat's on your promotion!
